First run

To set up iTally for the first time, follow these steps:

1. Open the console: in the launcher window, click Open Console. The console has four pages on the left: Overview, Cameras, Switcher and Phone access.
2. Connect the switcher: on the Switcher page, choose the type and enter the IP address and other settings. When the bottom of the sidebar shows Connected, the switcher is connected. For each type, see Connect a switcher.
3. Add cameras: on the Cameras page, add one camera for each camera on set and choose its input from the list. See Cameras.
4. Check the overview: the Overview page shows one tile per camera, in the same colours as the phones. Make a cut on the switcher and check that the colours change.
5. Scan with a phone: on the Phone access page, scan the QR code with the phone camera to show tally. See Phone access.

The console is local by default

By default, the console opens only on the computer running iTally. The launcher signs you in, so no password is needed. To work from another computer, see Other computers.

The console has light and dark appearances; switch between them at the bottom of the sidebar. The EN / 中文 button at the top of the sidebar changes the language.
